• Submission of Expression of Interest
• Once approved by the Commonwealth government, invitation to submit Visa subclass
858 application
• Timeline: about 1 year

State Nominated Skilled Visa (190)

State streamlined immigration pathway for skilled professionals

Requirements:
1. Skilled talent in eligible government sectors
• Management accountants
• External auditors
• Taxation accountants
• General accountants

2. SkillSelect points of at least 65
3. IELTS / TOEFL English test
4. Skill Assessment test
• Conducted by IPA Australia
5. Under age of 45
6. Committed to live in Victoria for 2 years
7. Be nominated by State government

190 Visa Process
• Conduct English and Skill Assessment Tests
• Submit Expression of Interest application to Commonwealth
• Submit Registration of Interest application to State
• Once invited by the State, submit a nomination application
• Once State supports the nomination, submit visa application
• Timeframe: about 1 year
